MaxiGas Natural—Gas Distribution   

MaxiGas Natural is the second largest natural gas distributor in Mexico. The company serves more than 400,000 natural gas customers in six Mexican regions. Providing natural gas for residential, commercial and industrial customers, the company operates a pipeline network of more than 10,000 kilometers.    

As part of its market growth in the natural gas for vehicles sector, the company serves the first natural gas vehicle station in Querétaro offering a clean energy for public transportation—taxicabs and buses—in the city. In addition, MaxiGas Natural supplies two natural gas vehicle stations in Mexico City.

MaxiGas Natural has been nationally recognized, for five consecutive years, as a Corporate Social Responsibility company.

Energía Mayakan—Gas Transportation  

Energía Mayakan operates one of the most important pipelines in the Mexican southeast region, supplying natural gas to the government´s major power generation sites in the country. 

The company, a 67.5-percent owned subsidiary, operates the 679-kilometer pipeline that transports natural gas from the Tabasco state to Yucatán state, crossing four Mexican states.

Due to its high standards of operation, Energía Mayakan was awarded the Quality Prize given by the Yucatan’s Government. The company holds Clean Industry Certification from Federal Environmental Authorities  

Gasoductos del Bajío—Gas Transportation   

Gasoductos del Bajío is the main pipeline supplier operating in the Mexican central region, offering natural gas to all automotive and consumer industries located across the zone.

Gasoductos del Bajío, a 100-percent owned subsidiary, owns the 204-kilometer pipeline that runs from Guanajuato state to Aguascalientes state. The company guarantees access to a reliable and economically competitive source of energy in the region.

Tractebel Energía—Power

GDF SUEZ also owns and operates three power plants in northeast Mexico for a total of 300 MW of generation. The facilities provide electricity to more than 35 industries and are fueled by clean-burning natural gas.
